Back on the Greens: 2026 UMC Foundation Golf Outing Raises More Than $70,000 

After more than a decade, the UMC Foundation Golf Outing made its long-awaited return, bringing together supporters, sponsors, and community partners for a memorable day at Blue Heron Pines Golf Club in South Jersey. 

On a beautiful day on the course, we welcomed 85 golfers for an outing focused on fellowship, friendly competition, and, most importantly, supporting the Foundation’s mission to provide abundant life for seniors in our communities. The enthusiasm and generosity of everyone involved made the event a tremendous success. 

Thanks to the incredible support of our sponsors, golfers, donors, and volunteers, the outing raised more than $70,000 to benefit programs and services that enhance the lives of older adults served by UMC. 

We are especially grateful to our Title Sponsor, Lockton, for their leadership and commitment to making this event possible. We also extend our sincere thanks to Presenting Sponsor Provident Bank and Gold Sponsor Sodexo Seniors, whose support helped lay the foundation for a successful day.  And, as always, a special thanks to our year-long Premier Partner, Hawks and Company. 

The return of the Golf Outing was about more than fundraising – it was an opportunity to reconnect with longtime supporters, build new relationships, and celebrate the shared commitment to ensuring seniors throughout our communities have access to the resources, care, and opportunities they need to thrive. 

The overwhelming response to this year’s event reaffirmed the value of gathering around a common purpose. We are thankful to everyone who participated and helped bring the outing back after its extended hiatus. We look forward to building on this momentum and welcoming even more supporters to the course in the years ahead!
